International
Workforce Effectiveness
Please visit my other website at www.workingcultures.com
My intercultural work began in 1979 when I became an expatriate employee
in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a large multinational company
with 48,000 employees and family members and more than 15 nationalities.
I am a member of the Society for Intercultural Education, Training
and Research.
The following are some examples of the services I provide:
• Employee and family assessment, including alcohol and drugs
• Cultural preparation for international assignment; predeparture briefings
• Coaching for success while on assignment. This is accomplished through
computer video and telephone.
• Assessment and intervention for problems while on assignment
• Managing the culturally diverse workforce
• Coping with the stress of a political crisis in the host country
• Special needs of children
• Successful readjustment into the home culture (repatriation)
